Happy birthday to the Nottingham Breast Institute! 🎂 Last night, we brought together staff, former patients, and supporters to celebrate this amazing milestone. Guests enjoyed talks from doctors and specialists, plus a special performance by the Sing It Bold Choir. Over the past 20 years, the Nottingham Breast Institute has made a huge impact on breast cancer care, not just in Nottingham but across the UK. With pioneering research, state-of-the-art equipment, and projects funded by Nottingham Hospitals Charity, patient care has been transformed. This affects the time it takes to process blood test results, and impacts hospital services and primary care. Patients with blood testing appointments at City and QMC are being asked not to attend. Hear from Dr Mark Simmonds, Deputy Medical Director on what this critical incident means for you 👇 Updates will be posted on our website - 🔗 nuh.nhs.uk/latest-news/patho…
