With the new school year about to begin, let’s remember that not every student went on a family vacation, visited an amusement park, explored nature or met new friends at a sleepover camp in the woods. Some students summer highlights include having a roof over their head and just enough food to survive. These students have been counting the days to return to school for safety, consistency, support, friendship, nutrition, and hope for the future!
