Victim vs. Sacrifice
I believe that an artist doesn't have to explain anything. But in this case, I want to make a small explication.
In the global media space of today, I would single out two trends that are, in my opinion, interrelated.
The first is the tendency to proclaim oneself a victim. The scale of this phenomenon strikes the imagination. Individuals, minority communities, religious, social or ethnic groups, governments and even entire states are declaring themselves victims. The position in which self-proclaimed victims place themselves gives them moral superiority over all those who are not ready for one reason or another (no arguments are accepted) to share their ideas and values. And this is where I see the second trend.
I will call it the fascization of discourse. The aggression of the victims, however contradictory it may sound, takes the wildest forms in the struggle for the totality of their idea. Victims establish a dictatorship and declare all those who disagree with them as rapists, murderers and oppressors. This behavior becomes contagious and like a virus begins to spread through the media, enters the life of society and becomes the norm.
Look at the abundance of different kinds of content produced by social and mass media lately, where Nazism or fascism is mentioned in completely arbitrary contexts. From various comparative-analytical articles in "serious" publications to memes and humorous videos recorded by children. From news programs on TV channels to arguments between social media users, where opposing sides call each other fascists and Nazis

This work has a rather large size: 9000x9000 pixels. Like a lot of my works, though. There are a lot of different details to look at
