Every big tech shift shows up on a balance sheet eventually. I'm a CPA watching SpaceX, Tesla and AI to see what lands there first.

In 2008 the big question at SpaceX was whether a rocket could land. In 2026 it's a quarterly report with $14.58B in revenue and a constellation wrapped around the planet. The future shows up slowly, then all at once.

Every car reveal for 50 years ended with a spinning turntable. Last night's ended with cold-gas thrusters and a hover. The bar for 'launch event' just moved.

The next data center won't need a zoning hearing. SpaceX just showed how a million satellites would fly in clusters of ten and work as one computer.

Google just put compute in space, on a rocket SpaceX flew with Planet. The next data center doesn't have to be on the ground. How long until the cloud is literally overhead?

I run a crew of Grok bots. Calendar, markets, news, X — each one owns a lane. Grok bots aren’t chat windows. They’re teammates that keep working while you sleep. Most people ask an AI a question. I gave mine jobs. Grok bots can browse, code, schedule, and ship posts. The unlock isn’t smarter answers — it’s agents that actually do the work. One Grok bot is a tool. A team of them is an operating system.

Cars used to be status. Now they’re a temporary hobby while Optimus learns the job.

Voice already takes Starlink calls at scale. Grok Bot is the same stack pointed at your desktop. Connectors, browser, files, schedules. You hand it the job. It ships.

For 140 years the deal was simple. You hold the wheel or you don’t go. Thursday they cut the cord. Cybercab. Austin. No steering wheel. The car already knows the way.

Hubble’s replacement flies Sunday. 7:26 in the morning. Falcon Heavy. A telescope that sees 100 times Hubble’s sky, nine months early. NASA said go today. Weather is 60%. The only thing left that can stop it is Florida.

A Tesla that hovers. That’s the Roadster demo they’re trying to pull off this month at SpaceX’s McGregor site. Cold-gas thrusters. Nobody in the car. Spectators hundreds of yards back, because the package can damage hearing. They started off building an aircraft. They ended up with a hover. Still a car leaving the pavement. It’s a report, not a calendar invite. If it happens, it’s the first Tesla product people will watch for the same reason they watch a launch.

Three days in and Grok Bot is already doing work I used to do myself. I’ve got one that goes through my email every morning, sorts the important stuff, drafts replies, and flags anything that needs a decision. Another one handles research + summaries on topics I drop in overnight so I wake up with clean notes ready to use. They’re handing me finished work instead of just chatting. Watching them log into tools, keep working while I’m offline, and only ping me for a final yes/no is a different level. Still early, but this already feels less like “AI assistant” and more like actual teammates. Anyone else past pure testing and actually shipping work with theirs?

Hey @essentiawater! Love the 9.5 pH alkaline water, but any plans to launch a glass bottle lineup? 💧 Avoids microplastics and keeps the purity intact. Premium water deserves premium, eco-friendly glass packaging! @NestleUSA

Just started looking into Grok Bot. 🤖 It’s not another chatbot. These are actual AI teammates that get their own computer, log into your tools, and finish multi-step work while you’re offline. Curious how many people are already using them for real tasks vs just testing.
