Im opening commissions because I want to find everyone who loves things the way I do. People who want a piece of their favorite character or their own OC to enjoy, not to flip. If thats you, lets make something super cool together!

CAPCOM USA
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
CAPCOM USA

Here’s a story for you. We started filming without owning the title and had to do alternates.
Taft Broadcasting owned the title Ghostbusters as part of their half-hour sitcom starring Larry Storch and Forrest Tucker (F-Troop) and a gorilla chasing ghosts. I had never heard of it. They didn’t have proton packs or Bill Murray. Columbia paid $500,000 to buy the name, but they really should have paid Dean Martin, from whom I first heard the term.
In the film Scared Stiff (1953), he and Jerry Lewis (check out his acrobatic stair descent) are in an old haunted castle, and Lizabeth Scott asks Dean: “Who are you guys?” And Dean answers: “You’ve heard of Trustbusters and Gangbusters, we’re Ghostbusters!”
For my research writing the first movie, I watched every single ‘ghost’ comedy ever made. Bowery Boys, Hope and Crosby, Abbot and Costello, Martin and Lewis all did such films.
Happy Halloween 2026.

Still proud we put together these two Rival Schools art books. It was a lot of work by several people.
My buddy Ken is giving everything he's got to be a comics creator.
We talk all the time about trying to bring good story to comics, and while I'm merely theorizing about it, he's actually making it happen with his new comic!
I've been working on a new webcomic called SAINTLY:
A girl must hide a deal she made with demon or risk losing her her best friend...and her soul.
SAINTLY is a demon-chase horror action comedy
about debt, friendship, and loss:

GI Joe The Battle for the Train of Gold (1985) has more action and adventure in one episode than all the "action adventure" comics Ive worked on combined.
In the first 5 min we get a heist with nonstop laser fire, Duke blown up, and a squadron of personal Cobra copters!
Many writers get "in media res" wrong by shoving a later part of the story at the start, then backing up and telling all the boring parts that led up to it. It would be better to start "in the middle of things" and continue to progress from there, no backing up at all.
Many of my favorite stories have terrible intros though so Im giving Limetown a shot. I havent looked into it but with the amount of narration it seems like an adaptation of a podcast or something. Were being told something, and shown something, but the showing doesnt matter.

His talent is amazing, but let this be a lesson to every creative who chases perfectionism above completion. His indecisiveness led to a movie that was beautifully animated, yet never fully fleshed out as a story that spent nearly three decades in production
Hadnt watched Mega Man Wish Upon a Star in years. Regardless of its edutainment (forcing the creative bankruptcy of bringing characters to the our world) there is a TON of action and adventure! The closest adaptation to what I want out of Mega Man that I know of.
Im also watching Astroy Boy (1980) and impressed by how much story they capture in each episode. Theres always exciting, meaningful action AND powerful exploration of drama and emotion. I think the perfect template for what a Mega Man series could be.
