🎉 For the first time in 4️⃣ years, the Lincoln High School and Humanities/Communications Magnet girls’ basketball team is heading to state! The Lady Tigers will face Waco La Vega in the UIL 4A State Basketball Tournament on Friday, March 1, in San Antonio at the Alamodome.
Got a chance to witness greatness today in the classroom of the 2021 Texas Teacher of the Year! Deep discussion, rich content, and elementary school kiddos making inferences, drawing conclusions and discussing Greek mythology. Thanks for letting me crash, @Erichale1979
Happy to share that @dallasisd is a proud winner of this grant last year and is already in process to implementing its pilot program! Thanks for the tag!
All that said, if money is earmarked specifically for BEV school buses, then no reason for a school district not to apply. @benfordisd, something for you to look into! Would love to see these buses serving DISD students.

Policy matters and can have astounding impacts on outcomes when you match words with actions. Proud of the work Dallas ISD has done in breaking down barriers for students across our district.

I couldn’t be more proud of TAG Alum and DISD teaching rockstar, Azhalia!!
Meet Azhalia, a Texas #DACA recipient who proudly contributes to her community as an educator. Her future and that of hundreds of thousands like her are in jeopardy following the 5th Circuit’s ruling. The urgency for Congress to act this year has never been greater.
I had a great morning with the Jimtown Neighborhood Association talking about all things Dallas ISD! Thank you for the invite! @ Oak Cliff, Dallas instagram.com/p/Cklg0T7uTvE/…
