While I enjoyed the protected bike lane up 5th, @SANDAG and @CityofSanDiego will need to do some education to riders about lane direction.

This is a huge issue! I am grateful for the staff at the @YMCASanDiego Copley-Price and the comfort and care they are providing my daughter.
The childcare staffing crisis in San Diego is so bad that a preschool teacher told me her kids have to wear nametags so the rotating subs know who they are. And sometimes the subs don't show up. Here's part one of my series: kpbs.org/news/education/2022…
