🇪🇺🇦🇱 Albania’s Kushner-linked luxury resort is now facing pressure from Brussels.
European lawmakers urged Albania to halt new permits and construction in protected areas after 18 days of protests over the project, known as the Flamingo Revolution.
The backlash has spread from Albania to diaspora protests in the U.S., UK, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Sweden, and Australia.
The fight is now bigger than one resort: Albania wants an EU future, while protesters say protected land should not become a playground for political insiders.
