This is simply the story of a boy trying to grow up, survive, thrive, have fun & discover himself against a backdrop of events that might best be described as ‘explosive’, captivating & shocking the world for thirty long years.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have left the UK for a short break as Meghan struggles to come to terms with the allegations against her father, Thomas Markle. They are understood to be spending time overseas with close friends.
Meghan is “really, really upset,” one friend tells HELLO! “She keeps on looking at Lili and she’s in tears."
Thomas, 82, is under investigation following the alleged discovery of child pornography at his former home. He continues to deny any wrongdoing.

What has Adams to to with it ?
Are you joking ?
At first, he completely denied any IRA Involvement , they he came off with "no one involved acted as a republican or on behalf of republicans" , yeah their all saints 😇
And then he went on to accused the family, public and media of a smear campaign ,boohoo 😭.
For once the SF/IRA PR machine failed in its mission .
Only then were he and the IRA forced to admit that their members were directly responsible, and even then, it was only because of the intense global attention the story attracted and the widespread public disgust it provoked.
Instead of telling witnesses to go to the police, Adams publicly urged them to give statements to "the family, a solicitor, or any other authoritative or reputable person or body." Fear of reprisals killed that one.
This was widely derided by the McCartney family and political opponents as a cynical attempt to look cooperative while actively steering people away from actual criminal investigators.
Throughout the entire ordeal, Adams remained deliberately evasive , with the usual deluded and self-serving platitudes , and true to form he placed the protection of IRA members above the grief and suffering of the victims' family.
At least Karma caught up with one of the main perpetrators and he met a violent end !

A terrible crime, what had Adams to do with it? I realise hes the go to boogeyman. Unionists dont give a shit about the victim or his family, just more nonesense on your latest vilification of nationalists. Hopefully justice is found along with the dozens of UVF killings

I checked with JD Wetherspoons.
There is no company-wide ban or policy against customers (or staff) wearing remembrance poppies.
@jdwtweetsuk has long supported the Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal, sells poppies in its pubs, and raises tens of thousands of pounds for it annually.
Its published dress code focuses on clothing and accessories that are not offensive, and it does not list poppies as prohibited.
A recent local incident (25 October 2026) at The Star in Gosport, Hampshire, sparked the claim. During local demonstrations, staff applied temporary security measures and turned away some people wearing poppies (along with other items that “could be perceived as political”).
A doorman and manager were recorded saying there was a “blanket” approach to anything that might be seen as political. The company quickly clarified that this was not a ban, attributed it to standard security steps for the protests that day, noted that some customers (including some with poppies) were refused entry, and said the pub closed early on police advice.
It apologised for the inconvenience and confirmed there is no general prohibition.
100 Belfast & Northern Ireland Slang Phrases & Meaning
Belfast slang is in a league of its own , so it is, and that’s a big part of the city’s craic. The accent and the banter have been shaped by Irish, Scots, and English influences, so if you’re not from here it can sound a wee bit strange at first and might do yer head in. Some words and phrases might confuse youse, and you might think that ballbeg is slabberin but once you get used to it you won’t be ascared anymore and yer man might become your best mucker. So shut your bake and catch yourself on and we’ll go to the offie and get loads of beer and have a mad sesh 😉

Murder In Belfast ?
I watched this last night & it left me fookin raging 🤬
Here's my thought ...
The brutal killing of Robert McCarthy by the IRA, and the extensive cover-up that followed involving republicans, Adams and Sinn Féin, once again highlights Sinn Féin’s utter lack of integrity, unsuitability for high office and disregard for the rule of law.
Despite the bar being packed with roughly 70 witnesses, a wall of silence immediately went up. Witness intimidation and the fear of the threat of violence kept many silenced and the deluded institutional loyalty to IRA have robbed the family of Robert and his brave sisters of a justice that is long over-due and those complicit (and there are many) should hang their heads in eternal shame.
How people can still support these thugs and bullies is beyond my comprehension, especially ordinary law-abiding Catholics who continue to vote for them and keep them in power - as they use and abuse the GFA for their own selfish needs and twisted political ideology.
IMHO Sinn Féin are one of the biggest obstacle for a lasting peace and harmony between our two tribes and tarnishes our relationship with our cousins in the South of Ireland.

If it wasnt for the sacrifice our brave troops made during the wars those that despise us and our way of life so much wouldn't have the freedom to hate us and would be living under a Nazi regime !

I can’t believe what I just heard from our nations biggest pub chain.

The Shankill Bomb - Never Forgotten
When the first reports of the bomb started coming in I felt an overwhelming sense of dread and as I watched the news unfold my first instinct was to worry about my family back in Belfast. Many who lived and shopped on the Shankill rd daily. I immediately made contact with them and thankfully they were all safe and well , although a few of them had been in the vicinity of the explosion and had helped in the recuse effort immediately after the bomb.

Some crimes can never be forgiven & this vile bast**d should have NO RIGHTs whatsoever to remain in our country after the horrendous acts of barbarity he took part in.
I can't begin to comprehend the pain and disgust this is causing Ken Bigley family and those who knew and loved him.
Why should we the British people give a flying feck for his human rights , he should be deported immediately & with any luck Karma will show him the same mercy he showed his innocent victims.
Eternal shame on Human Rights lawyers , they get rich milking and abusing the system defending scumbags like this monster.
This is much worse than we thought. It’s not just that terrorists are arriving on boats. It’s that even when we know exactly who they are and the danger they pose, we’re giving them refuge.
We have been truly captured.
He’s an Isis terrorist who guarded beheadings and arrived on a boat illegally. And our government won’t send him back to Iraq as he may be mistreated because of his terrorist past. WTF, I expect him to be punished, severely ! Not cuddled and taken care of by my government.
