Late-night Red Wings games have been a bit of a grind to stay up for this week, but the hockey has been awesome.
Figure it's a good time to point out subscribers can access on-demand content via the DSN tab, including full replays and condensed versions of games.

During tonight's game, we went 39 minutes and 14 seconds without allowing a shot on goal.
Over the last 17 years of NHL regular season games, no team has had a stretch within 10 minutes of that.

Over the last 65 years, only three Red Wings players have been +7 or better through the first eight games of a rookie season.

"He's a machine. He plays heavy, hard minutes...he’s like a diesel truck. He never gets tired. He just keeps going."
Since making his NHL debut in the 2021-22 season, @DetroitRedWings Moritz Seider leads 𝐀𝐋𝐋 NHL skaters in blocks (950) and total time on ice (9987:29). #LGRW
Prior to tonight, the last @DetroitRedWings win when trailing in the final two minutes of regulation was April 16, 2024.
Which is a great excuse to rewatch one of my all-time favorite Ken + Mick calls.

This was Lucas Raymond's 7th career shootout-deciding goal.
He's now tied with Todd Bertuzzi and Henrik Zetterberg for the 2nd-most in franchise history (leader is Pavel Datsyuk with 11).

It's Red Wings debut night on @WatchDSN! Pregame show starts at 6:30pm.
Below is a list of channel locations for DSN on local cable/satellite packages.
Fans within our market also have the option to stream games on the MLB App via phone, tablet, or connected device.
There’s been so much uncertainty in sports media the last few years.
Instead of playing it safe, our organization decided to accelerate investment — growing our broadcasts into something Tigers fans could be proud of.
Dan and Jason are such key reasons we've seen success!
In case you were worried about Red Wings telecasts losing their edge during the move to Detroit SportsNet...

In-market streaming for Red Wings games is now hosted on a dedicated @WatchDSN tab in the MLB App.
DSN Subscribers can access it now by opening the app and clicking the “Watch” tile at the bottom.
Two years ago today (August 11, 2024), we woke up with a 0.2% chance of making the playoffs.
Since then, we’ve posted a combined 176-148 record — the 2nd-best among AL teams and 6.5 games better than our closest divisional peer.

Coming into yesterday’s start, Jackson Jobe had thrown four pitches at 99+ MPH in his big league career.
He added eight more in the game and broke 100 MPH for the first time, touching 100.1 MPH — the single fastest pitch of his career.

We acquired three prospects in the Tarik Skubal trade, including a pair ranked in @MLBPipeline’s Top 100 (No. 25 and No. 68).
It’s the first time anyone has received two Top-100 prospects for a single “rental” player.

While we wait for Trade Deadline, this from @MLBPipeline: Tarik Skubal was the first deal since at least 2004 in which 2 Top 100 prospects were traded for a rental. Dodgers traded Josiah Gray and Keibert Ruiz to Nats for Max Scherzer at 2021 deadline, but also got Trea Turner.

This might be one of the coolest things I’ve ever seen
What a moment for baseball ❤️
