Beauty is never carried alone.
On every back rides a companion,
It moves through scenes as if posing for a portrait no one will ever finish. Its weight becomes our posture
Perfection was never something we reached. It was something we agreed to carry

The marble half reaches for the sky and remembers being worshipped. The black half kneels and remembers everything the marble forgot. The mirror only shows her turning away, even her reflection refuses to decide which one is real.

The stillness between strikes, where the sound has gone out and nothing has answered yet. When the spirits awaken, the sound will bring back whatever they are willing to give.

Four sisters
The first holds the gift of stillness
The second hears the stone speak
The third is the guardian
The fourth is the dreamer, the others guard her body until she returns.
Together they are the temple's living heart

"We are buried beneath the weight of information, which is being confused with knowledge; quantity is being confused with abundance and wealth with happiness.
We are monkeys with money and guns." Tom Waits
