Never use galvanized portable containers for transferring lubricants. Additives may react with zinc plating & form metal soaps.
For outdoor storage, use drum covers or tilt drums to drain the moisture that gathers on the top around the bungs. Cover drum with PE sheet.
Proper way to store lubricants. Lay drums with the bungs in 3 & 9 o'clock position to protect seals & water seepage.
