Make it so, Captain. The next Trek show needs a USS Picard ship.

It’s strange to think there’s only two original TOS crew members left… and that they don’t even like each other in real life.
Walter Koenig, who played Chekov in the original “Star Trek” series and seven “Star Trek” feature films, has died at 90. variety.com/2026/film/news/w…

Do you remember the first comic book you ever bought? I do. I remember turn the cover and seeing Batman looking in a mirror with fangs like a vampire. That’s all I remembered… until today. Going though comic collection that came in, and I stumbled upon this issue… I immediately remembered the cover! I turned into the comic and there it was! Batman as a vampire! And at the back of the book - Batgirl as a serpent!!! Unlocking core memory events is pretty sweet, I must say.

Us supporting and giving @tammyhwang our vote for @HamOntWard4 four years ago has done nothing for the betterment of businesses on Kenilworth Ave. Much less Ward 4. Oh sorry, we got trees in pots in front of the stores that have people living in them. BIG DEAL. How about laying fines to those building owners and enforcing businesses are put back in there which in turn will will your parking lot. This is going to kill the businesses that actually use this lot. You’re punishing businesses because you can’t catch the people that don’t pay to use the lot - which is generally half full most times! Now the landlord of the councillor is in charge of the project? Get out and vote #hamont. Change this city for the better and remove those that haven’t done squat for their own wards.

The name Lake Ontario comes from the Wendat word Ontari’io, which, appropriately, means “the lake is beautiful, the lake is big”. The name is more than 400 years old, predating both the Confederation of Canada and the Declaration of Independence of the United States of America. We know that America is changing. Their trading relationships, their foreign policies, their national monuments, their hydronyms. Canadians also know that naming reality means calling it Lake Ontario – then, now and always.
