People who body shame, bully, or use hateful language are often fighting insecurities and emotional wounds of their own. Sometimes, tearing others down is an attempt to feel better about themselves. But projecting your pain onto someone else doesn't heal it. Hurt people may hurt people, but healing people break that cycle.
