For the last 8 weeks we have been posting a countdown to the launch of my new website. It's now up...so please take a look!!! billthomson.com
Although there are many illustrators whose work I love, these 6 are my very favorites, and the man at the top is the reason I became an illustrator!
Bill Thomson was given his first comic book when he was 8 years old and had to miss school because he was sick.
The energy and enthusiasm at Moses Y Beach inspired me!
Illustrator Bill Thomson visited our school today and taught us how he comes up with his book ideas! Students were inspired, to say the least! @billthomsoncom

These are amazing! What a wonderful extension from our author visit!
Step 1: Think of an idea! ✔️ Step 2: sketch your thumbnails✔️ We are excited to follow in @billthomsoncom footsteps! Thank you for inspiring us to write and illustrate our own books!
Amazing work!
Step 3: Take pictures of what we want to draw (due to time, we had to skip this step, but did the next best thing: print out pictures of cameras to help us focus our attention on one moment/thumbnail)✔️ Step 4: begin to draw our illustrations! ✔️ @billthomsoncom
Amazing talent at Moses Y Beach Elementary School! I love to see what caring and creative teachers do after my presentations!
