What a night friends!! 26+ years at WGN and I can now add the words “Emmy Award winning producer” to my resume!! I can’t thank everyone enough for trusting WGN weather all these years! You guys are the best!

6PM SNOW UPDATE: Official snowfall at O’Hare now up to 6.9” making this the heaviest calendar day snowfall in more than 10 years! Since November 21, 2015 when 7.0” fell. Roads are slick, allow extra time if you’re out and about. #snowstorm #Chicago
3PM SNOW UPDATE: Both O’Hare and Midway are now at 5” so far today. That’s a record snow for Nov 29, eclipsing the old record of 2.4” in 1953. This will easily be the heaviest snow in nearly 5 years, since Feb 15, 2021 (6.1”) with more to come. #snowstorm ❄️❄️
Once the snow pack gets established here it isn’t going anywhere anytime soon. Plenty of cold air locked in place through mid-December, biggest departure from normal centered over IL/IA/MO. Still several weeks away, but odds for a white Christmas are high. Brrrrrrr 🥶🎄

I have waited SO many years for shots like today and I finally got it. My buddy Garrett hit me up a few days ago mentioning the possibility of monsoon picking up. So I threw the dice for a few days to see if anything would happen and I ended up getting a haboob of epic proportions swallowing downtown Phoenix! What a day!
