Seems like a PoW challenge might work -- most legit users won't be creating a Twitter account frequently, so a PoW challenge that takes 1-2 weeks to pass wouldn't be too inconvenient.

Warren's claim of immunity via the speech and debate clause looks awfully similar to the Jan 6 Commission's tactics too.

I'm glad they've relaxed this restriction now, but it is distressing that Twitter was apparently willing to cause this much disruption to me for using Tor, even though Twitter literally advised me to only connect using Tor after the #StateSponsoredActors incident in 2015.
