my reading preference oscillates between various genres but is finally coming back around to scifi. I'm stuck in a rut, however. the genre is extremely raped and the author I was waiting 10 years to check back in on died before he could finish his next book.

maybe I will revisit The Night's Dawn trilogy. I read like 95% of the way through, years ago, before I got too busy to finish. but it's 4,000 pages and the beginning is such a slog.
