Congratulations to our portfolio company, Forte Biosciences, on its agreement to be acquired by @argenxglobal for $2.2 billion.
This milestone follows impressive progress for Forte's lead program, FB102, including positive Phase 1b data in both vitiligo and celiac disease. With Phase 2 celiac data expected later this year and the potential to address additional autoimmune diseases such as alopecia areata, FB102 has demonstrated the promise of becoming a true pipeline-in-a-product. We partnered with Forte in 2024, when FB102 had just completed its healthy volunteer study and was entering clinical evaluation in celiac disease.
It has been rewarding to watch the program advance, and we look forward to seeing FB102 continue its development and make a difference for patients.
