This is a critical tip!
Unfinished Vizness Iron Viz Tip #9 ⏳ Plan Your Prep Time
Work backwards from the deadline, schedule wisely. Mix in time to research, design, and taste-test your ideas & leave plenty of time for plating and presentation.

Unfinished Vizness Iron Viz Tip #8 ♿ Make It Accessible
Accessibility isn’t garnish—bake it in. Add alt text, use readable font sizes (>=12pt), limit text-as-images. Everyone deserves a seat at the table

#IronViz #InclusiveDesign
This one gets me every time! Resizing an already well developed floating layout #ironviz entry 😬 A bit like when a feast is all set out on the table and someone remembers you still need to fit the potatoes and sauce on! Luckily @hthr_cox and @ScottKimly have you covered
Unfinished Vizness Iron Viz Tip #6 🧩 Control the Kitchen Chaos
Plan your layout before it boils over. Floating elements are great until you resize the dashboard-then it’s a food fight. Copy your viz before resizing.

Unfinished Vizness Iron Viz Tip #2 ❤️ Pick a Topic That Feeds You
The theme might be food, but your real ingredient is passion. Choose a topic that you’ll still want to “taste-test” after the twelfth late night.

Our guest @datavizlouis is obsessed with K-Pop Demon Hunters. He thought the data would back him up. It doesn’t.
So what can he viz?▶️ youtu.be/30MgXbHdXvk

T-minus… not very long now! Unsticking stuck vizzes, since 2000-and-tomorrow
Some vizzes make it to @TableauPublic.
Some get stuck.
Unfinished Vizness is about the second kind.
First episode drops tomorrow.

Sounds like votes are open just a little bit longer if you didn’t yet get your #thevizzies nominations in yet! A great way to reflect on a year of cool content and those that have helped you or others in the Tableau community 🗳️
Ok, #datafam, this is you last call for #thevizzies nominations, I've taken a look at the data and in most categories there are only a handful of votes in it, so use them before you loose them. Who will win at #tc25 #tableau bit.ly/thevizzies

A “better” LOD equivalent of RANK / INDEX in #Tableau, using spatial functions 🗺️. I hope you never have to use it in a production dashboard 😬, but it’s a fun ongoing challenge! 🤓 bitfern.co.nz/blog/lod-equiv…
