For my birthday, my wife and kids got me my 2nd piece of original art. An absolutely badass Punisher piece by @ShaneCvolK
Wolverine Paradise #1: been waiting for this one for a while. Wolverine’s narration & this comic in general has a Claremont vibe to it. Art & setting are excellent. This is going to be a fun ride. Very strong recommend.

> be me, a lifelong DC fan
> Green Lantern flops and immediately kills plans for extended universe
> Snyder writes like an edgy 14 year old, makes Batman use guns, then gets fired after 2 1/2 movies
> with a few exceptions, everything after is either mid or complete slop
> The Flash becomes one of the biggest bombs in movie history
> Joker 2 is a literal middle finger to all DC fans
> The Rock randomly tries to coup and take over DC from within
> James Gunn is hired and says he’s starting over before all the old universe movies are even out (but not really because whatever he likes is actually staying)
> Literally no one watches Creature Commandos, the technical start to the new universe
> Superman is ok, but just ok isn’t great for the true start of a cinematic universe
> Supergirl, the second movie in the universe, somehow flops harder than The Flash
> Gunn announces a fucking Jimmy Olsen and Gorilla Grodd parody show where they break into song like High School Musical
> Lanterns is such a disgusting, horrible, insulting, borderline evil character assassination of the entire Green Lantern mythos that it somehow makes the 2011 movie look like a masterpiece
> The Batman part II delayed to 2087
> the third film in the universe is a low budget psychological horror movie about a C tier Batman villain
Im tired man…
This book always delivers.
Rook: Exodus 11 spoiler!!!
Here come's the Spider-Stag!!!! Colors by @bdanderson13 . I like how his four "tassles" give him the 8 legs of a spider....I totally planned that....Rook 11 in stores today from @GhostMachinePro @ImageComics
The Last Driver #2: things kick off quickly as we get some backstory & Clutch hits the road. Art & layouts are so damn good. Love the landscape approach. Next issue is prime for some wild driving. Strong recommend. Variant guilty on this one.W/A:@SeanMurphyArt C:@SimonGough2099
So saddened to hear about Joshua Cassara. Insanely talented. Incredibly kind and gracious in all interactions I had with him online. Truly sorry for his family and loved ones.
Loved his work. A recent page he did that was a real "oh shit" moment when opening the book.
Including the post from Josh's wife Martha for any who may have missed it. instagram.com/p/Ddo4YdwiY6Z/
This looks like the first time I'm gonna buy a 3rd printing I have the 1st printing of.
“BREAKING NEWS: Last Driver #1 going into a 3rd printing. Get ready for a ROBOCOP homage!
Colors coming soon. Hurry up, @simongough2099!
;)”
Jimmy is killing it on Deadly Tales, one of the best books of the last 2 years. Strongest of recommends.
I wanna build up the audience on my DEADLY TALES OF THE GUNSLINGER monthly ongoing title from Image.
I know westerns aren’t everyone’s cup of tea, but I’m pouring everything I’ve got into this series, and Jordi’s turning in absolutely stunning work. If you enjoyed Jonah Hex or any of my past books, I’d really appreciate your insight on what might help bring you aboard.
Retailers — your perspective is just as valuable.
And to everyone who’s been with us since issue #1: the biggest thank you. Your support means the world.
Looking forward to your productive feedback.
Hammerfist #1: We meet the very flawed Mike. Next thing we know it’s a “bank heist” & ground work for wild shit is laid. This reminded me a little of Scumbag, but serious & occult based. Art is excellent as expected. W:@Remender A:@SteveEpting C:Matt Hollingsworth @GiantGenerator
Catching up on couple of excellent indies. Can’t recommend them enough.

That Lanterns show feels like it was written by people who know nothing about the characters or the comics. It's not even worth hate watching after that first episode.
Mad Dog Morgan: kickstarter backed. The packing & quality of this is wild, branded box, paper quality of the book is thick. Story had great pacing, character building & action. Art is excellent. Wrestling & horror. W:@GiftedRebelsCo W:@BrianChristgau A:Maxi Dall’o
