Should someone who barely plays the game have the same opportunity to profit from in-game rewards as someone who actively participates in the ecosystem? Imagine someone who hasn't played OTG for six months. A limited-time event goes live, they log in, claim a free reward, sell it on the Marketplace, convert their GUN into real money, and disappear again until the next opportunity comes along. They're not necessarily interested in playing the game. They're interested in extracting value from its economy. What if Marketplace selling privileges had to be earned through regular gameplay? For example: Play a minimum number of active hours each month. OR maintain a 4-week streak of completing weekly challenges. Players could still buy, earn, own, and use their items, but selling them would require meeting the activity requirements. Kestrel's anti-cheat capabilities could potentially help support such a system by detecting certain forms of automation and AFK activity. This isn't about punishing casual players or taking away anyone's NFTs. Any restrictions would need to be fair, transparent, and respectful of players' ownership rights. The goal is to encourage consistent participation in the game rather than reward those who only show up to extract money from its economy.
