🚨 Marc Guehi on what Ruben Dias told him after his mistake against Aston villa: 🗣️Reporter: Marc, what did Ruben say to you after your mistake allowed Jackson to score? 🎙️Marc Guehi: “Honestly, Ruben was furious with me. He came straight over and told me, ‘What the hell are you doing? This is Manchester City, not Crystal Palace. You cannot defend like that and expect us to win trophies.’ He told me to start using my brain because we're fighting for the biggest trophies in football, not handing goals to our opponents like we're doing charity work. He wasn't finished either. He said, ‘Do you think we're winning the Premier League or Champions League if we keep defending like this? Forget the trophies! We'll win absolutely nothing if we keep making these stupid mistakes.’ “Then he told me nobody cares about my potential or reputation if I keep switching off at crucial moments. At this club, I have to prove myself every single game. ‘You literally handed Jackson a goal he didn't have to work for. Wake up, Marc! We cannot keep cleaning up everybody's mess and expect to win everything.’ “Honestly, he was brutal, but I understood his point. Ruben wasn't going to pretend everything was fine when my mistake had cost the team. He made sure I knew exactly what he thought.”
