As the child of a parent who always put him first and very rarely ever did anything for herself I carry a sense of guilt at everything she missed out on playing the role of mum when she is much more than that. She doesn’t have the friendships and community now I’m independent.
My friend wants to plan a couples, no-kids weekend getaway, splitting the cost of a large AirBNB, in January for her 30th birthday. I really do not love this idea (husband is mortified), neither to spend the money nor to get someone to take the toddler for 3 days. It would be a 2.5 hour drive away for us, too, so it’s not like we’re close if something happens. I haven’t been away from him for even 1 night yet and he still just seems so young! It would be very hard to leave him for that long.
Am I just a party pooper who needs to get over it? Genuine question. Like I actually need advice here guys
One day your children aren’t going to need you as much as you think they will, or as much as you might need them, particularly if you neglect your friendships and relationships with others under the guise of being a ‘great parent’. It’s okay to choose yourself sometimes.
Objectively the worst song of all time? Yes.
Would I pay upwards of £50 to see her perform it and sing along to every word: Yes.
Time for the annual tweet about how I saw Cher perform If I Could Turn Back Time and a few hours later the clocks went back an hour. Her power!!

Now and again if I think of a TV moment I search it to see if anyone else has tweeted about it. Obsessed with this
I think Stephen and Rachel winning as Traitors earlier this year has alerted people to the fact you can actually win together. There isn’t need to throw each other under the bus. This series is dull to some degree because the three traitors all work well and have been a team.
Add in the element that it’s all for charity and multiple of them benefitting is ultimately much better than just one, there is no motive to go against one another if they can succeed as a group, which so far they have done.
This is good! I honestly think it’d make a huge difference too if there was a just day’s grace between a traitor being banished and them being able to recruit a new one. Actually weaken them a bit and let the faithful try and take advantage.
Replying to @blake2108
They need to do something like add £5k to the prize fund every time they eliminate a traitor - adds a dynamic to being one as well
Especially since the actual aim of the game early on as a faithful is simply to avoid banishment and murder. It’s often so random at the beginning. As we’ve seen, getting traitors out early does the faithful no favours cos they just recruit a new one to take their place.
I absolutely hate when people use the whole “oh you’re more outspoken now compared to before” as an excuse to vote for someone. Is it illegal for someone to just be quiet at the start then open up over time? 🙄 #CelebrityTraitors
every time someone’s confidence increases and they speak more, in every season, they are suspected of being a traitor FOR NO REASON other than it’s a smaller group and easier for them to speak freely #thetraitors #celebritytraitors
Nah but what can you actually do to prove your innocence except be banished or murdered?? Add in that you don’t know if it’s a delusional faithful who has misjudged you or a traitor using you as bait you’re pleading with!
I don’t know if it’s because it’s for charity, but I wish that they would fight harder to stay in the game both of their pleas disappointed me tbh #TheCelebrityTraitors
Sharon explained herself at the round table and to a degree so did Joanne, it’s very hard to change people’s minds in that game when they’ve convinced themselves you’re guilty and the longer you stay when you already have heat the more likely you are to be banished.
