New in Blanc 1.44: Reader Mode.
Type /reader, or choose Enter Reader Mode in the Island, and the article comes out of the clutter, keeping headings, images, tables and code. Pick Light, Dark or Sepia, a font, size and width.
It runs on your computer, and it's free. blanc.day
Blanc has no tab strip and no toolbar. Instead there's the Island: one compact pill above the page with back/forward, a dot per tab in your group, the site you're on and how many ads were blocked.
Press ⌘L (Ctrl+L) and it opens into one panel: type an address, switch tabs, search history and Favorites, or run slash commands like /group and /private.

Chrome moved to Manifest V3, which limits what ad blockers can do. Blanc can still run full uBlock Origin 1.75.0.
Click the shield in the Island, pick uBlock Origin, restart Blanc.
Works on Apple Silicon and Intel Macs, Windows x64 and Linux x64. Blanc Blocker stays the default, and it's what protects private tabs.

Blanc 1.41 lets you style the clock on the Billboard Start Page: pick its font, weight, height and color, then Glass or Solid. Add your own wallpaper image and pin your sites.

New in Blanc: Split View.
Right-click a tab → Split with to show two tabs side by side in one window. Drag the divider to resize. The split stays together after a relaunch and in your spaces.
Glance changed too: the tab you pick now opens as a card floating over your page. Keep as split turns the two into a Split View.

Glance shows a second tab beside the page you're on.
In Blanc, right-click any link → Open Link in Glance. The docs or the recipe sits next to what you're doing, not in a tab you keep switching to.
The Glance side has its own Back and Reload, and Find and zoom follow whichever side you clicked.

You can name your tabs in Blanc.
Right-click a tab → Rename Tab…, or type /rename in the Ctrl+L (⌘L) panel. "Invoice draft" beats "Untitled document – Google Docs".
The name stays when you browse to another site, restart Blanc or save the tab in a space. Reset Tab Title puts the page's title back.

New in Blanc 1.37: tab group colors.
Right-click a group's header in the Ctrl+L (⌘L) panel and pick one of eight colors. Its tabs' dots in the Island take the color, so Work and Trip are easy to tell apart.
The same menu has New Tab in Group, Move Group to New Window, Ungroup and Close Group.
