The topic aside, kudos to the writer of this - the verbiage, format, jargon usage... Complexity extracted, yet information-packed
$93M drained from @Ledger wallets, so far.
The devices worked as intended. The weak spot was the supply chain: @cryptobilis, an authorized reseller, was sold under an NDA, and nobody told the customers.
What happened and how to protect yourself.
I find it incredible that anyone who is in this industry because they like it thinks this is good.
out of the few hundred thousand people trading on fomo the last 90 days, only 226 made more than $10K so far.
and once you strip out all the KOLs and insiders from those 226, you’re probably left with a handful of regular people.
so unlikely that this ends up being you as an average Joe.
social trading is an amazing concept and fomo is an amazing app. but as long as we keep turning it into a casino, there will always be a house.
This is bigger than many events considered flagship elsewhere.
Some numbers for the @Solana Summit Serbia:
→ 75 speakers
→ 25 side events, Monday to Friday
→ $50k+ Demo Day
→ $5k Frontier Traders trading competition
→18 sponsors
Aug 26–27. The Balkans' biggest crypto event starts in 20 days.
Had a call with a team today who thought incorporating was going to be a massive task.
Told them it was about $500 in costs, they'd be on the preferred venture corporate structure, and all ready to raise through @seedplex_io too. I saw and felt their relief.
Very cool to have learned as much as I have on the legal side in the last 2 years to fix this worry for founders once and for all.

Oh no, we did it again.
Croatia this time. The Drakes flew from all over the world for a week in one of the nicest parts of Croatia, Istria.
If you live under a rock: before Breakpoint Singapore, a group of Drakes met up and spent a week together in Bali. It was supposed to be a one time thing, but it ended up being so much fun, we had to run it back. That's how Drakepoint was born.
During this first "official" Drakepoint, Drakes enjoyed wine tastings, truffle hunting, island exploring, chilling by the pool in our villas, and amazing dinners that turned into 3am conversations. The kind where people who only knew each other as PFPs turn into actual friends, between people who genuinely move Solana for the last 5 years.
There will only ever be 69 Drakes, and 68 are already out there. But the number was never the point. The point is the 68 people you get access to: a small group of founders, investors and builders who actually like spending time together, sharing what they know and backing each other. Owning a Drake isn't having a cool PFP, it's getting in the room.
And in Istria, the room did its thing. Someone makes an intro over dinner, someone helps a founder through a problem they've already solved. The stuff you never see on the timeline gets passed around the table. That's the Den. A small curated group with real reach that actually cares and shows up for each other.
It goes way beyond that, through Lucid Ventures. Founders building in web3, consumer, infra, AI and across Solana can present to a network that brings more than just capital. A collective drake-telligence that can fund, advise, intro and amplify.
Every edition makes the Den a little sharper and the door a little narrower. With 68 already in, there's one seat left. The 69th Drake is the last direct way in.
If you've been following the Drakes, this is the moment to make a move. Drakepoint was a glimpse of what the Den is, and a hint of where it's going.
It was a huge pleasure to spend this week together, and we can't wait for the next Drakepoint that's already in the works!
Tbh, it's not worrying that @CryptoHayes dumped $CARDS in a way that he did after obviously having no idea what he was talking about, calling the project "Cards Protocol", talking about how the token hasn't moved (open the damn chart) and arbitrarily saying their sell target MC was 1b.
What is worrying is that you are all surprised he did it!
As for CARDS, these were liquid tokens another investor wanted to sell anyway. The dump was initially prevented via an OTC, but then Hayes did his thing.
Nothing too bad happened, the project is the same it was, the token is on hold in terms of internal economy...
Everything is the same, who cares is someone who had liquid tokens sold them?
Now go back to the worrying part.
Just had a meeting with an RWA project that highlighted an issue that I often see in understanding their target market. Blockchain made RWA way more efficient (and this made tradfi take notice - or get left behind), but RWA is not blockchain-only. We made the acronym from our point of view, but RWA is simply 'assets' for others.
This means that, if you are building an RWA project, in most cases, your target markets shouldn't be only defi crypto dudes, but traditional asset managers. That is a much bigger market and your messaging and UX should focus on them. Rather than a chore, this should be presented as an opportunity for them (because it is).
Monthly revenue larger than market cap! No, they weren't lucky to catch the narrative timing. They had a good idea, the passion and knowledge to make it happen and resilience found in few. They CREATED the narrative Almost all VCs said no, @MoonrockCapital excluded 1/2
Trust me, I know first-hand. I was the one who sent many of them the deal. The market was down, then FTX collapsed, VCs were out, there was no narrative, they were targeting a market that did not exist... And they made it! Few people deserve this kind of success more than @TuomHolmberg, @JoeMunnsHK and the team. Congrats once again!
If you know a DePIN project that can limit the number of nodes that are necessary without hurting the sufficient amount or quality of data generated, let's talk!
A little update on what we've been working on. Super excited to announce that we recently closed a strategic pre-seed round to double down on a problem that I genuinely think is one of the most exciting opportunities ahead.
We're building the rails for structured yield today, with the long-term vision going further to support an open finance stack for even AI agents and democratize opportunities for both institutional and retail users globally.

最近我们 @enhanced_defi 刚完成了一轮战略融资。

A fake $5,000 OpenClaw airdrop is targeting developers. But it doesn't arrive as a shady DM. It arrives as a GitHub notification.
It feels like targeted recognition for your work. It’s actually a trap for your wallet.
Here is how they weaponize your own interest. 🧵
This has been one of the larger issues for crypto investors. Finding a gem, coming in early, buying the token and supporting the project, watching the business thrive and grow and - you get nothing.
Great to see @seedplex_io addressing this.
