If you call yourself a fanbase for an artist, yet actively choose NOT to share the things that artist personally shares with their fans… I have to ask: Are you really representing THEM? For YEARS, TaeKook fanbases have been attacked from all sides, accusing us of being JK-biased, Tae-biased, or caring more about a “ship” than the artists themselves. Well, here’s my challenge. Take a good look at the hardworking TaeKook fanbases. Look at what we share, what we celebrate, and what we focus on. We share what THEY share. We promote what THEY promote. We celebrate what THEY celebrate. And we respect what THEY choose to show us. We don’t get to pick and choose which parts of Taehyung and Jungkook deserve support based on our personal preferences. Being a fanbase should mean supporting the ARTIST, not controlling the narrative around them. If you can’t say the same, perhaps it’s time to ask yourself who you’re really representing.
