I got a text today and...it was something | didn't expect. Azzy was a very close friend to me. We met in 2022 when I was working in Weatherford, and we had been through the thick of it both laughter and tears. To think that you are no longer here with us is just... I can’t fathom

for context these are life changing surgeries that consenting adults have worked towards for years with a doctors supervision, being suddenly cancelled out of the blue for hundreds if not thousands of people, just to make some unrelated bigots feel better

The NHS cancelled all gender affirming surgeries in Wales. Those who had their appointments ripped away from them have been given a suicide hotline instead. This happened because of transphobic pressure, and people will die because of it.
