This has to be one of the most beautiful graphs of all time. Its a plot of theta1 vs theta2 in a double pendulum and shows where the pendulum swings are 'stable' (black) and where they become chaotic (colored). #chaostheory

This has to be one of my favorites, its a tiny little island of stability surrounded by chaotic pendulums.
Getting ready for the next @netflix season of #ThreeBodyProblem!!!

Watching the #MarinesDocumentary2025 on @NetflixANZ is a potent reminder of why I'm a pacifist. Dedicating your life to the destruction of another persons existence is utterly absurd. Finding purpose in war is like chasing an imaginary dragon.
I apologise to my Vietnamese brothers and sisters for my ugly rolls, but they tasted great! My technique leaves much to be desired.
If one wants to de novo predict protein structures, they must first obtain master level black belt status in virtual python environments! #rfdiffusion
Windows has come a long way!
Relion 5.0 compiled fine in the WSL-2 and now runs natively in Windows.... Very cool!

Got a stellar chance to see @slowlyslowlyAU in an intimate gig at EVs! They are amazing live! Do yourself a favour and give them a listen.
Super proud of my little fella. He came runners up for the summer basketball season, playing centre!

So.... Turns out our new server "Piastri" is a bit of a RELION beast!!! 4 min per iteration on 288 pix^2, 0.5M particles! Very good!
Good luck this weekend @OscarPiastri
Specs:
AMD Ryzen Threadripper PRO 7975WX 32-Cores
512 Gb Main
4 x RTX4000 Ada
New @MonashPharm GPU server. Named it after old mate @OscarPiastri , mostly because it goes fast and because the case is a 'Silverstone' case!
#oscarpiastri!
Amp capturing is such a cool tech. Now I can take my amp anywhere in a tiny little pedal, captured with a really nice @rodemics and an SSL preamp! Very cool!
#cryoEM open heart surgery.... They are about to hook me up for a blood infusion.... The @thermofisher engineers have got the sterile syringes ready! 🤣
So my bandmates wanted me to prepare a "Stream of Consciousness" playlist. It turned into a bit of an epic one, but its more of an insight into my very ecclectic musical influences. Check it out! music.youtube.com/playlist?l… via @YouTubeMusic
