We need to introduce a new 'Human Values' subject in every primary school, covering topics like:
Gender Sensitivity. Social Dynamics (empathy, power, hierarchy, friendships, groups, consent, boundaries). Religious Tolerance. Diversity & Inclusion. Civic Ethics. Internet Etiquette.
I don't know how. But it can be done. And it should be done. Need of the hour.

If the punishment is already the harshest possible, an offender may have less reason to spare the victim or avoid committing an even worse crime.
Feeding the power to bureaucrats in order to smother the anger of masses will bite back in an irredeemable manner.
Trans misogyny is misogyny. I’ll lose every relationship over politics if your politics is about erasing the identity of others.
Umar Khalid pointed out that capital punishment only answers collective rage. True prevention comes from studying the culprit to fix systemic root causes. Hope Nara Lokesh implements this instead of boasting about an encounter.

That 8 year old kid is not an evil incarceration. Kids won’t listen to how much ever good you say, but they’ll definitely imitate & learn from watchi’ the actions of adults. If they see domestic violence at home or on screens they’ll learn to imitate, they’ll act up on it.

This country is under a rape and murder epidemic, and there's an increasingly disturbing shift among the youth towards entitlement, misogyny and sexual violence. A lot of this is fuelled by the hyper-incel rhetoric being normalised and packaged as entertainment.

#AndhraPradesh ---
A pregnant woman was carried on a stretcher for nearly three kilometres by locals after she developed labour pains in Alluri district, highlighting the lack of proper road connectivity to her village.
Killo Neelima, a resident of Talaripadu village in Anantagiri mandal under Araku constituency, experienced labour pains. As the village lacked motorable road access, locals had to carry her on a stretcher for about three kilometres to reach Boddapadu village.
They’ll absolutely punish him because they can. But do not clap for or boast about it. Take measures to prevent this from happening ever again. It is government’s responsibility not a token of charity.
Don’t free yourself off of the personal and professional responsibility after punishing the culprit and feel heroic for the thing every one of you’ve enabled in the first place. It shouldn’t end there. @naralokesh
This shouldn’t stop at punishing the culprit as it won’t prevent further harm. Provide security and protection to children. Even the cattle have herders ffs.
