"Husbands, Love your wives as Christ loved the Church." (Eph 5:25) I think about this passage often. Though I am single at the moment, I often contemplate what kind of man I need to be for the family I hope to have someday. 🧵

Last night is exactly why no President has dealt with Iran before now We don't reward Presidents for acting in the best long-term interest of the country We reward them for avoiding difficult decisions if it means we don't have to make any sacrifices during any given 2yr period

Lots of people blaming supposedly like-minded voters who stayed home or didn’t vote in certain races. Suggestion: ask them why they stayed home. You may disagree with their reasons, but if you don’t understand them you will suffer future election losses just as bad.

This. Simply put: if Dems govern like adults/moderates, they’re likely to win 2028 in a landslide. If they don’t, President Rubio/DeSantis/Vance will have a GOP Congress to work with.
I did not write this but too good not to share! I think this is how "most" Americans truly feel! Dear Republicans and Democrats, In the last two years, both of your parties have suffered major election losses. Democrats in 2024 and Republicans in 2026. And I don’t think it’s because Americans suddenly decided the other party was doing such a wonderful job. I think it’s because both parties have spent too much time catering to the loudest voices on the far left and far right while ignoring the concerns of the majority of Americans somewhere in the middle. Most Americans are concerned about the same basic issues: the cost of living, affordable healthcare, government corruption, housing affordability, Social Security, education, the national debt, and immigration. And when I say immigration, I mean common-sense immigration policies. I don’t think most Americans want open borders where criminals and dangerous individuals can enter unchecked. But I also don’t think most Americans want to see hardworking people, who are contributing to our communities and doing jobs many others don’t want to do, being treated like violent criminals. Surely there’s a reasonable middle ground somewhere between those two extremes. And that applies to just about every issue we’re facing. We don’t want to see political temper tantrums. We don’t want millions of taxpayer dollars wasted on political theater and impeachment battles that accomplish nothing beyond allowing one party to say it got even with the other. We don’t want reasonable legislation rejected simply because it came from the opposing party. We want you to do your jobs. We elected you to represent the American people, not just the loudest 5% of your political base. We elected you to work together, compromise when necessary, and make decisions that actually improve people’s lives. The American people have spoken through their votes. That’s how our system is supposed to work. When elected officials stop addressing the concerns of the people they represent, voters have the opportunity to replace them. And here’s something both parties should remember: 2028 is right around the corner. If the next group of elected officials spends its time fighting, pointing fingers, seeking revenge, and catering to the political extremes instead of addressing the issues Americans actually care about, don’t be surprised when voters send you packing, too. Republicans and Democrats may disagree about how to solve our problems, but that doesn’t mean we can’t agree on what those problems are. We’re all Americans. We’re all on the same team. And whether you voted red, blue, or somewhere in between, we all benefit when our country succeeds. So please, for the sake of the American people, do better. Because what we’ve been doing clearly isn’t working.

God willing, @Pontifex will hear this news and threaten to cancel his visit if they don’t reinstate Mass. Or ask to borrow the crozier, then hit the bishop over the head with it.

This is the second time in three days a video has appeared of a conservative being attacked. At what point do we realize the pattern and summarily arrest all registered Democrats for conspiracy?
An 18-year-old stood his ground at the polls in New Hampshire today and was assaulted for it. He stayed calm. The left got violent. Don’t cede the ground, show up to the polls. Your vote helps us outnumber these people.

I have reason to believe every election in the great state of Georgia is compromised. I’ve received multiple calls and texts from people in both parties urging me to cast my vote in the election despite me not being a registered voter in Georgia.

No matter who you vote for, make sure you vote! We can never forget that the best way to safeguard our democracy is to practice it.

I don’t care what the league does on this. I want to hear that the @NFLPA is fining Smith $250,000 and telling him that from now on he will be financially responsible for all costs associated with any injuries caused by his illegal play.

Leave it to the Marines to treat their birthday as if it were the Twelve Days of Christmas. 😉😂😂😂
Happy 251st Marines! For 251 years, Marines have stood ready to fight and win our Nation’s battles. Since before the first days of the American Revolution to the engagements of today, the Marine Corps has served as a decisive naval and amphibious force, projecting power, defending our interests, and helping turn the tide in conflicts around the world. Across every clime and place, Marines remain ready to be the first to fight whenever and wherever our Nation needs them. As America’s 9-1-1 force, the Marine Corps continues to set the standard for readiness, resolve, and warfighting excellence. Semper Fidelis & Happy Birthday, Marines! We are all called to be saints. We are called to become holy through the grace of God. Not all of us will be formally recognized at Saints by the Church, but that does not mean we have a lesser calling.
The world tells you to be famous. Christ calls you to be a saint. Today is All Saints’ Day, honoring every saint in Heaven, including those whose names we will never know. Ordinary people who loved God through extraordinary trials. All you holy saints of God, pray for us. ✝️

Personally, I don’t wish to be recognized. But God’s will be done. I just want to live my life as the best witness I can to the truth of Christ by loving God and loving my neighbor as myself. I want others to become holier than I, provided I become as holy as I should.

I don’t know which part of this is more obvious… the quarterback or the fan base
Guess the NFL team: QB: 90% Superman 10% blackout drunk RB: baller TE: Republican TE2: ultra Republican FS: mouthy goblin with behavior issues D-Coordinator: gritty white guy who played at Wisconsin then 10 years in the NFL RT: 6’8” 311lbs meanest player in the league basically Bane from Dark Knight Rises but 2.5 times larger Fanbase: drink 200 Labatt Blues per month and jump through folding tables in -20 degrees

How was I not following Lee before this?!? Best Halloween post ever!
My wife’ll show you the candy station on your way up the driveway and you can have all the snickers you want. But you have to say trick or treat. You see, Jarquavious, I can deal with the pillow case candy buckets and the faint odor of weed and the Bluetooth speaker playing in your mom’s Kia Sportage. I don't want money and I don't want medals. What I do want is for you to stand there in that faggoty Black Panther costume and with your public school mouth extend me some fucking courtesy! You gotta say trick or treat.
