We are not only tracking network service, we're also monitoring emergency service responses and the deployment of public safety networks to ensure vital communication channels remain open during crises.
Using crowdsourced measurements from our Roam App users, we've been able to monitor the deterioration of mobile network service in Los Angeles during the 2024 wildfires. Our data shows significant disruptions in connectivity in areas like San Bernardino and Joshua Tree National Park.
We're committed to supporting recovery efforts by providing real-time network data to aid in emergency response coordination and to help rebuild connectivity faster.
Stay strong, LA! Let's work together to restore and enhance our community's resilience.

Quick update here. We whipped up 20 kits in a hurry and they were quickly allocated to orgs in the field. Based on overwhelming demand, we're going to keep making them. We're calling it the Helium Hotspot Beacon.

We have Helium Mobile Hotspot + @Starlink Mini kits that will start shipping next week. This is a fully-contained mini cell tower that supports @helium_mobile + all other major carriers. If you have the ability to deploy these for a community in need post Helene, DM/email me.
