BREAKING: GET HIS ASS! Rep. Ilhan Omar destroys Trump after he smeared her name — and JD Vance gets dragged right into the mud!
By now, they should know better than to mess with her...
"The pedophile protection party’s president is laundering right-wing conspiracy theories through the most corrupt DOJ in American history," Omar wrote on X.
"Whenever the news turns bad, this creep reaches for one name: mine. So let’s make it crystal clear. My name has always been Ilhan Omar," she added. "Maybe you should focus on what your VP’s real name is."
She was responding to a hateful, lie-filled Truth Social rant from Trump in which he repeated some of the usual right-wing fever dream conspiracies about Omar, including that she supposedly changed her name and married her brother. Absurdly, he called for the well-liked congresswoman to "IMMEDIATELY resign from Congress."
Omar's response was pitch perfect, because she refused to be pulled into the weeds on Trump's blatant misinformation and instead redirected attention to the fact that this White House is actively covering up the Epstein files.
On top of that, Vance actually did change his name. He was born "James Donald Bowman," was later renamed "James David Hamel" by his mother, and then eventually changed his name to Vance. His constantly shifting name is appropriate for a reptilian-like man who will pretend to believe in anything to get closer to power. He's a slippery, slimy little creature.
Meanwhile, Ilhan Omar is a staunch advocate for her constituents and a fearless progressive who actually wants to improve this country, unlike these MAGA crooks who only want to enrich themselves and obscure their crimes.
This is all so incredibly transparent. Trump is attacking Omar because his popularity is in the toilet and he knows that going after a Black, Muslim, immigrant woman will play well with his base. It doesn't matter that his accusations are untrue, his bigoted supporters will gobble them up. Unfortunately for him, it won't be enough to win in the midterms!

I went to Robert E. Lee HS in Midland, Texas. Our entrance onto the field at football games was behind a jeep racing in with a 12 ft. confederate flag. In 1965 we played in the baseball state tournament against this San Antonio Robert E. Lee HS. Fuckers beat us.

My sons (8 and 11) are old enough to know what nuclear weapons are. Last weekend they were asking some good questions like:
-what was the biggest one? the smallest?
-how deep underground would we need to go to survive one?
-what if we were in a tank instead of underground?
-why doesn't the plane that dropped the bomb get blown up?
I didn't tell them about radiation sickness or nuclear winter, but otherwise I didn't sugarcoat it for them. They become quiet and listen when you talk to them like adults. A lot of our conversations are like this now.
We watched some videos of the old above ground tests in Nevada and the South Pacific. I was reminded of a passage from Richard Rhodes' "Dark Sun" where Edward Teller is said to have told visiting dignitaries that a thermonuclear explosion is like a campfire.
It has no practical limit and can be built bigger and bigger by adding more fuel to the reaction...
