If your favorite golf course hasn't aerated putting greens yet, they probably will soon. No golfer likes to see greens full of holes and covered with sand, but the many benefits of aeration are worth the short-term disruption.

Taking divots is a normal part of any round of golf. Making our best effort to repair them should also be routine. Although repairing divots might seem simple, knowing when to replace a divot and when to fill it with mix is critical.

Coincidentally, the 10.2" of snow that fell in #Boulder yesterday was the EXACT amount needed to get back to normal for the season! 💯💯
With more than 3 feet of snow in the last five weeks, Boulder now has 39.7'' for the season! #COWx #Boulderwx #Snow

Hwy-93 between Boulder and Golden closed due to high winds.
US-36 between Boulder and Lyons closed due to a grass fire.
There also appears to be another grass fire burning just southwest of Boulder.
Can it snow already?

well, the nice Sunday afternoon nine holes went from 60 degrees to about 42 in 20 minutes. And those 35 mph north winds were a nice touch! Honestly, any December golf is a treat but would love to see a big, wet storm dump on the courses.

8:00 AM Sunday: 10" of snow so far in #Boulder. Don't write this storm off yet! We've got at least 6 hours of moderate/heavy snowfall ahead, then another 12 hours of light snow after that. Our forecast is still on track for 10"+ in Denver, 17"+ in Boulder

Here's a look at the latest snowfall probabilities for the Friday to Monday timeframe. Still looking at ~95% >1 foot of snow in Denver & Boulder, ~60% >2 feet, ~25% >3 feet. This is using our adaptive snow ratio algorithms, w/ storm average snow ratio coming out to ~9:1

National Golf Foundation report: Rounds played increase this year could be 50 million (that's after losing about 20 million rounds in March/April).
Only year that saw a bigger increase in last quarter century: 1997, the year somebody won the first of his 15 majors.
