This idea that the City players have of course done nothing wrong
I mean yes obviously they weren’t the ones doing the cheating, but if you join a club with 115 charges against them - as most of them did - reasonable chance you’re going to be playing for a team in this position!

Such a beautiful advance listen that this has been over the past two days. Nobody should skipping those first seven chapters just to get to the Doctor Who stuff. I mean, wow, such a fascinating listen - quite surprising and frank in honesty in places. And mad to think-
The Queerest Of Folk - out Thursday! (Or pre-order now of course.) theguardian.com/media/2026/o…
Looking forward to James Graham’s forthcoming play/TV drama about the Man City scandal, “Irrefutable Evidence”…
This is the point: their entire success since the takeover, including the Pep years, is built on lies, fraud and cheating. Forget the “red cartel” rubbish, the other clubs played by the rules and City signed up to them. And broke them systematically.
Get Joe Hart back on!
Love the Monday Night Club but it’s a shame there isn’t a journalist on to challenge Joe Hart putting his head in the sand. Fact is: City have been found guilty of cheating, unless you seriously believe @David_Ornstein and the rest of the football media have got this story wrong.

Message to all Man City fans who've spent so many years dishing out so much vile abuse to journalists covering this. It's not your fault. It's your owner's fault. Hold them to account. And maybe have a bit of humility from now on.

What’s worth remembering here with Manchester City is their charges also included failing to cooperate. Which surely impacts any possible leniency in the sanctions.
Looking forward to City fans contorting themselves into thinking that it’s not so bad…
Manchester City: it’s very bad.
