Tarantino has clarified how he views his filmography across different categories:
• Favorite Movie: Once Upon a Time in Hollywood (2019)
• Best Film / Masterpiece: Inglourious Basterds (2009)
• Ultimate / Born-to-Make Movie: Kill Bill (2003/2004), which he describes as a film no one else could have created.

#BradPitt really trying for another 200M grosser at Global #BoxOffice, after #DavidAyer’s actioner #HeartOfTheBeast seeing another incredible hold overseas grossing strong 6.5M on 5th weekend, just a -27.8% drop from last weekend, for a 108M intl. cume over 66 markets.
Allied to its 62.4M cume in the US, the dog loving movie, with a 82M production price tag not including marketing, hits a 170.4M Global cume!
Eyeing a 185M-200M Global run

Quentin Tarantino called Cliff Booth a “paperback hero.”
During his AFI Fest Q&A, Tarantino explained why he wanted to revisit Brad Pitt’s character from Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.
“I love the Cliff Booth character. I love the way that Brad played him.”
Tarantino imagined Cliff starring in an entire series of adventures and misadventures, much like the heroes of old paperback novels.
What surprised me most was the depth of mythology Tarantino has created around his characters. He understands their world so completely that it almost feels like he’s lived in it himself.
It’s fascinating how much life these characters have beyond what we actually see on screen.
Here’s the clip from the Q&A I attended.

Got an early look at THE FURTHER MIS-ADVENTURES OF CLIFF BOOTH. Tarantino back in TRUE ROMANCE/PULP FICTION/JACKIE BROWN mode, riffing on Elmore Leonard and blaxploitation with some gloriously ornate (and gloriously profane) dialogue. Loved what I saw. indiewire.com/news/festivals…
