A lot of Blueprints alpha here.
If public resources aren't enough, this is the place to get a glimpse of what Blueprints are about.
I've outlined how all "problems" mentioned by Vitalik can be solved/mitigated.

This is the only future-proof choice.
A perfect one for an early-stage company.
At @bprintsfi/@touch_market we have decided:
Zig (@ziglang) will be our go-to HFT language.
This is the best bet we can make as an early stage company. The Zig talent is the one we want to attract, it's the kind of people and thinking we want in our company.
We are betting on:
- safety, explicitness, conciseness,
- full control (io/allocators),
- zero speed compromise,
- unparalleled composability.
The exact values we have creating our own infrastructure.

Every position is tokenized thanks to the @bprintsfi infrastructure, which means that it can be entered and exited in a standardized way.
What does this mean for users? You can exit your position at any time.
The price moved closer to the goal price, so the market thinks your position is worth more? Sell it for a profit, no need to wait for the price to be touched.
You no longer think the price will be touched? Sell the position and get its current value back.

I think it's a great direction, but even this post about simplicity by @VitalikButerin suggests complex solutions instead of simple ones.

What is it about visions that makes us spend years of our life on them?
A short write-up of what motivated me for the past year and why I continue building @bprintsfi:

You don't need to pay $1m for audits to be safe.
You just need to write less code.
I just implemented an options protocol in 27 lines of code (less than 1 KB!). (I'm excluding boilerplate, counting only function body)
And it's readable, every line has <100 characters, I haven't unnaturally shortened names, etc.
Thanks to @bprintsfi

We enable extremely simple and generalized solutions.
Users make decisions about all parameters. There is no point in opinionating on the smart contract level.
All positions are tokenized.
Replying to @shafu0x
I drafted +/- an equivalent version: gist.github.com/Czar102/0f28…
Under 80 lines of code (forge fmt + cloc).
Any oracle. Any LTV. Any collateral. Borrowing positions fully tokenized. All in one contract. One function.
Stateless if not for liquidations of tokenized positions.
To build, clone github.com/blueprintsfi/core and put the file in src/blueprints/.
PS. This is a total draft, not tested.
