Thx @insidehighered. While cutting community college funding does reduce costs, it does so by removing opportunities for students. @MD_CommColleges are just now reversing the damage done by a "rebasing" of our formula that took 13 yrs to undue. #MDGA24

According to @Comm_College , almost half (47%) of postsecondary students age 18-24 with children attend community college.
That's roughly three times the percent of parent students who attend public four-year colleges (15%) and private for-profit institutions (16%) #CCMonth
