Last weekend I had the perfect getaway at Belle Meade B&B in VA. With the Shenandoah mountains filling the skyline, I found Belle Meade to be a relaxed getaway that was very healing. Rolling foothills of horses, a hot tub and a pool made for a lovely stay bellemeade.net
I dined at the very fine Field & Main Restaurant in Marshall, VA this past weekend and I was blown away! I tried the 6-course tasting menu with paired wines. Everything was top quality. The stars of the night were the Seabass + Wagyu Ribeye fieldandmainrestaurant.com @fieldandmain
