We entered another game jam game but we finished it this time (mostly)😅. It was a blast to animate and make the music on this one. Try it out on your phone gx.games/games/ebyzbm/run-bu… #GameMaker #indiegames #gamejam

Being amazing at marketing makes you more money today. Having an amazing product makes you more money tomorrow. The first sale comes from marketing. Every other sale comes from a having good product.

I’ve been a professional designer for 25 years, helped thousands of companies make millions dollars. But being a designer isn’t the greatest job I’ve ever had. Launching today, I want to tell you more about the greatest job I’ve ever had:

When you judge an experience based on how you felt at it’s peak and at the end, that’s called the Peak-End rule. And it applies to any and every interaction you have. Only the recipient of the interaction gets to decide, and each can have a different outcome. Examples 👇 🧵/10

Negative - Negative When you go to a restaurant and there is a long wait time and the staff forgets about you, and you get food poisoning and are sick the next day 9/10

For me, the best way to find these out (not as the recipient) is through Journey Mapping. Overlaying multiple recipient experiences can help find overall weak points in an interaction. Fixing those is the first point of making a better experience for the whole. 10/10
