Honest tweet now. This account is run by frontline NHS staff. There’s just 3 of us. We have tried our best to get out what is happening on the ground. But we are completely exhausted. If you support what we are doing pls will you follow & RT this to your followers? Thank you 🙏🏻

Whenever restrictions are eased, or we come out of lockdown, we lose quite a few followers
Some people seemingly think they don’t need to support NHS staff as much anymore
So please follow and RT if you’re still right behind us, as we still really need you behind us

It’s upsetting that Katie Hopkins, who uses Twitter to try and shame NHS staff, has over a million followers.
Yet our account, run by NHS staff to help lift the spirits of our colleagues, has less than 600k.
Please follow and RT to help put that right.

Thank you to the mental health+addiction professionals who are holding space + walking us through the fear and anxiety. And, thank you to the folks working in domestic violence – we see you. Not everyone who has to stay at home is safe at home. This is a crisis inside a crisis.

'It’s sad that people can’t be the best they can be because of the environment,' says @MikeAdamsRCN who tells @NursingTimes that nurses should not be put in a position where compassion is 'driven out of them' because of workplace pressures.

As a human being I am committed to trying to share with others that we are social creatures, because of which, whether we are religious believers or not, we need a sense of concern for others’ well-being.

People with dementia refuse care in hospital because of how it’s delivered. Structured environments/routines make it difficult for people with dementia to communicate concerns. Ward staff shouldn’t assume resistant behaviours are always due to dementia 👇 discover.dc.nihr.ac.uk/conte…
