As part of my research I developed a decision aid tool for people treated for Hodgkin lymphoma considering having a lung cancer screening test as part of a trial.
Paper describing its' development published (hurrah!) @PSTRC_GM @ChristieLibrary

For the avoidance of doubt, locumming on strike days is not ok.
It's selfish profiteering, while your colleagues forfeit their wages to fight for #fpr
The hospitals can easily find cover if they pay consultant BMA rates
Stick together, strike together, win together.

UK astonishingly far behind on CT and MRI scanners - I get that tech isn’t everything - but can we really justify being this much of an outlier? @RestIsPolitics

More scanners is the easy part!
What we need is better pay for the existing radiographer and radiologist workforce to ensure retention AND lots more radiographers and radiologists.
Without more staff, more scanners would be useless!

Neurosurgeon ! NEUROsurgeon! This is why we are striking and will continue to do so until the government agrees to pay restoration.
Excellent to hear that all four panellists at #UKOF23 agree that junior doctors have a case to ask for pay restoration.

As a hospital consultant who wishes to support junior colleagues I think it’s vital that you win your battle for fair pay. This means that your industrial action has to be impactful. 4 days after the Easter weekend is impactful. Stick together don’t have doubts.

On my way to cover the wards today so dug out my kit from when I did it last, back in a different century. Don’t suppose much has changed? Pay certainly hasn’t….. #JuniorDoctorsStrike

£14 per hour is not a fair wage for a junior doctor

JD colleagues who crossed the picket line this week have lost their right to complain about pay or working conditions.
This is quite delicious
Now we know why they’ve taken so long. This is a thorough piece of work. And it spells the very end for Johnson. I strongly recommend you all read the whole thing. And look forward to him being questioned under oath while his acolytes bleat about Sue Gray publications.parliament.uk/p…

I’ve always said ‘percentage’ is a cop out from telling the actual story. Yes, ‘junior’ doctors are asking for their pay to be restored by 26% but this is what it looks like in numbers. The people looking after your health and life are paid this per hour. This is the reality.
I submitted a Datix about an incident based on a patients recollection. I specified it was based on patients recollection. Feedback: "But did this actually happen?"
