Bitcoin Quantum: post-quantum Bitcoin.

Quantum computers won't break Bitcoin's hashing. They'll come for its signatures. That's where we started.
We're almost there. BTQ Protocol is running smoothly on testnet, and the team is working through final review with outside industry experts ahead of mainnet.

Testnet is humming. Final sign-offs are in motion.
The early crowd is already in the Discord. Don't be the one who finds out on the timeline.

Post-quantum signatures are about 35x larger than ECDSA. That changes how blocks move across the network.
Bitcoin Quantum nodes now keep 2,000 recent transactions on hand for compact block reconstruction, up from 100. More transactions in memory means fewer round trips and fast propagation for 8 MB post-quantum blocks.
Testnet hashrate is at a record high, and the network is getting stronger ahead of mainnet.
Cash 4 Hash will launch during mainnet in our Discord, giving anyone a way to take part in mining Bitcoin Quantum without running their own setup. More participants means more hashrate, a more secure network from day one, and mining that no small group can dominate.

New record on the Bitcoin Quantum testnet: the most peers we’ve ever seen connected at once.
The network is growing, and every new node makes it stronger.
Running one? Stay on v0.5.0 and open port 19333 so others can connect to you.

Bitcoin Quantum is post-quantum Bitcoin. Dilithium signatures, SHA-256 proof of work, and the same 21 million supply cap you already trust.
We've been cooking, are you ready?

A cryptography method recommended since 2020 is now being reconsidered.
Germany’s BSI says Classic McEliece should no longer be used in new developments or new cryptographic applications after significant advances in structural attacks. BSI also says the results so far do not enable a practical attack on its recommended parameter sets.
For now, BSI limits its recommendation to hybrid use, meaning Classic McEliece is combined with a classical method so both would need to fail. An update to its guidance is expected in early 2027.
The takeaway is cryptographic agility: the ability to change algorithms as research and guidance evolve without rebuilding the systems around them.
That same principle informs BTQ’s work on QCIM (Quantum Compute-in-Memory), which is being designed toward supporting algorithm change at the hardware level.

Quantum networks are growing stronger every single day. The continuation of exploration and implementation of quantum computing will see a stronger and more resilient framework.
CRYPTO'S POST-QUANTUM ROTATION IS BEGINNING.
For two years, quantum risk in crypto has been a debate with many thinking it'll never happen or that they have time, but the timeline is crunching.
BTQ signed a three year deal to run post-quantum protection across Kaia, the blockchain behind LINE's and KakaoTalk's crypto services, reaching a potential 250 million users across Asia. Every stablecoin on the chain is covered without issuers changing anything, and BTQ takes a cut of every transaction it secures.
Same day, Project Eleven, which builds post quantum security for Bitcoin, acquired Riva Labs.
First year revenue is guided in the six figures. Early, not big. But the chains that move real money are starting to pay to protect themselves before Q-Day, and whoever secures them gets paid every time money moves.
This can get interesting.

Mining analytics are now live on the Bitcoin Quantum testnet explorer, so you can see how the network handled a hashrate surge peaking at 195 TH/s without breaking stride, still producing exactly 1,440 blocks against a daily target of 1,440.
Explore the data here: explorer.bitcoinquantum.com/
The Bitcoin Quantum testnet just absorbed a 20,000x hashrate surge, returned to one-minute blocks within a day, and landed exactly on its daily target of 1,440 blocks, which is the resilience we are building for mainnet.

"The compute needed to break elliptic curve cryptography dropped ~40-50x this year alone. AI is compounding progress across the quantum computing stack. Bitcoin is next, breakthroughs are happening faster than we are anticipating." - @dallairedemers
