ART isn’t a stock. It isn’t a token. It’s a statement—a reflection of time, emotion, and the human condition. Yet here, floor prices dominate the conversation. Up. Down. Pump. Dump. Even self-proclaimed collectors obsess over the numbers. In the traditional art world, this mindset would be absurd. When Van Gogh’s work was displayed at the Les XX exhibition in 1890, no one spoke of “price floors.” They debated his vision, his brushwork, his perspective on life itself. In 1958, Rauschenberg’s Canyon wasn’t acquired to “flip.” It was collected because it captured a dialogue between abstraction and material reality—because it mattered. Art changes us. It becomes part of us. But here, it’s reduced to floor price fluctuations. Where’s the soul in that? This isn’t new. History has tested art with the allure of markets before: In the 17th century, the Dutch tulip bubble warped beauty into speculation. Scarcity became a market illusion—turning petals into priceless artifacts. Until reality burst the fantasy. In 2008, Damien Hirst bypassed galleries to auction directly at Sotheby’s. He flooded the market—sparking both record sales and criticism. But true collectors endure. They acquire art not for price action but for permanence—because it speaks to them. Real art collectors don’t ask, “What’s the floor?” They ask, “What does this mean to me?” Art transcends cycles. It carries forward narratives that outlast us. So, ask yourself: Are you here to trade artifacts—or to leave a legacy? ART on Bitcoin is forever.
