1/ The last 48 hours have been historic for cybersecurity. And not in a good way. Reports of 10+ major cybersecurity incidents have piled up, with several serious enough to rank among an entire year’s biggest. Enterprise security teams are being forced to confront threats to core infrastructure, exposed credentials, and compromised apps/platforms simultaneously, with the next emergency arriving before they can contain the last. “Black October” is becoming a test of how much concurrent failure the digital enterprise can withstand.

People don’t fear change. They fear loss. The loss of comfort. The loss of certainty. The loss of who they thought they were.

The reality of “human in the loop”. Gridlock.
New data from @AnthropicAI shows that agent sessions spend 80% of their time waiting on humans. buff.ly/GiQ9tbY #CIO #AI #Agents

wow a good news story!
When an Arizona teen saw an elderly man wearing a pair of shoes that were falling apart, the 18-year-old offered him his own — never knowing his random act of kindness was being captured on camera and would inspire so many people online.

Use cases for agents we are being sold largely solve problems that don’t exist or are aimed at consumer spend.

AI COMPANIES: “People who don’t use AI agents just aren’t aware of the vast power they possess to do anything.” NORMAL PEOPLE: “Wow, okay, wow. Sounds great. What can they do? Give me your top example.” AI COMPANIES: “The hardest task of all: Checking you into a flight!”

Solid and sage advice. This one made me chuckle: "If you don’t market marketing, the villagers will come for you with torches. Waiting to be understood is not a strategy."

💯 this goes for Enterprise Software use cases as well.
“We’re listening too much to the inventors of AI… We need to be listening to the frontline factory workers using AI… Or the ICU nurse…” 🎯
