Three races for State Supreme Court in WNY are decided but the contest for the fourth and final seat is still too close to call with all early and 97% of Election Day votes tallied.
Cross-endorsed Mike Amodeo (D) and Bob Richardson (R) won easily.

Democrat Rachel Martinez won the special election for a Cheektowaga Town Board seat left vacant by the resignation of fellow Democrat Stephen Nowicki over residency questions. She beat Republican David DeFields Jr.
Becky Wydysh, a former chair of the Niagara County Legislature, has won an open State Assembly seat over Democrat Nate McMurray, the former Grand Island supervisor. She replaces the retiring GOP Assembly Member Angelo Morinello.
Cheektowaga voters overwhelmingly approve term limits for town officials, by 91%-9%. Officials can serve a maximum of 12 years, or three terms, in the same office.
Close race for a vacant West Seneca Town Board seat. Republican John Rusinski (a fmr Dem Town Board member) has a roughly 1 pt. lead over Democrat Jeff Quain with all early votes and half of Election Day votes tallied.
