ALT Chance : Thanks for keeping me company! Itrapped : Yeah. Chance : Sorry about the mess- I usually don't have folks visit me Itrapped : It's okay
![He’s trying to turn it into a good, boastful thing but he’s totally seething over the fact he only got friends for his money and looks and the second any of them had to deal with his actual personality they left him and he thought iTrapped was different but it turned out he was using him #anyways. [Screenshot of Chance's dialogue: "I mean, who wouldn't want to hang out with a rich, well-dressed figure such as myself?"]](https://pbs.twimg.com/media/HV9wspXWYAAGngp.jpg?name=orig)

![Oh and even when he relents and talks about his family he talks about the business his family does. Hmm okay. I see you chance. hey chance, how was your home life Chance’s wealth being inherited is actually so important to me, but I can’t talk about this or else I look insane. You’re just going to have to wait until i write fic and you see me sneak it in there sometimes. [Over screenshots of Chance's dialogue: "It was so, so, booooooring. Sure, I had any and all the stuff I could ask for, and I'd get it... But I got tired of that fast."] This is code for “i had anything i could ever want except for parental love and attention” [Over screenshots of dialogue: "What with their meetings and work leaving me alone with schooling and tutoring after school."] OH, YEP, IT TOTALLY IS.](https://pbs.twimg.com/media/HV9wiaxWQAAHYZn.jpg?name=orig)

ALT In all-caps text interspersed with sobbing emojis: AND HE STILL PLAYS FOR JANE BECAUSE HE WANTS POSITIVE ATTENTION THAT BADLY. BECAUSE HE NEEDS EVERYONE TO LIKE HIM. BECAUSE HE’S LEARNED THE ONLY WAY FOR HIM TO GET VALIDATION IS SHALLOW TALENTS. (not saying piano is a shallow talent but it is for HIM). ESPECIALLY OLDER FIGURES LIKE JANE. Guys, do you think the survivors ever perform on their makeshift stage, and do you think chance is really into it and loves to be the life of the party? Do you think he’s ever there cheering them on and then he has a sudden pang of envy at the fact they can make and love art and that they’re truly passionate about something like music? That they aren’t just shallow rich kids determined by their rich family like him? And do you think he just keeps smiling and going along with it while he’s completely clocked out inside? Do you think-?
