A note from our founder and CEO: Bumble = women-first. Women-first has always been our promise. Women sending the first message was how we brought that mission to life in 2014, solving the problems women faced in dating then: unwanted attention, and too little agency. Today, women are telling us the problem is different: too much passivity, too little effort and too much pressure to carry the connection. We evolved the mechanic, not the mission.
