Very exciting news, you can now BUY an Alles synthesizer (or 4!) Our friends @Blinkinlabs are manufacturing a small run of Alles PCBs. This is the first time they're available for sale after a beta with some great musicians for the past year.

If you don't remember Alles, it's a mesh synthesizer that lets you sync dozens of them or address them individually. A great way to make beautiful sound baths or installations or dance music

Thanks for all the love on the Alles mesh synthesizer this week, I'm excited to get them out in the world. Here's a few, each playing a detuned oscillator bank from the other with a light percussive track passing across each one
The composition for this 7-channel tune was simple, just a few lines of Python; even if you're not a big "computer person" it's easy to get used to. And will work on Max etc too, and I hope someone writes a plug-in for Logic / Live etc soon!
Read more and make sure to let me know soon if you're interested in a synth or 5, or 10... Have a lovely weekend notes.variogram.com/2022/09/…

i’ve been playing w a few of these little wireless-mesh live-programmable synth-speakers from brian and they are just very cute and make me really happy 🥺 go check them out!
Ever dream of 100 synthesizers in a room, each with its own speaker, communicating together and individually addressable?
Please meet Alles, a mesh synthesizer I've been working on with friends for the past 2 years! DIY now or register to get one soon.

Alles's mesh works with both software based speakers and the hardware ones - you can keep any number (well, up to 254) synths in sync over a network.
Alles can be easily composed to from Python, the web, or environments like Pd or Max/MSP. Read our getting started tutorial to see what it's like, and let me know what you think! ♥️

I wrote a little about the best company I ever knew. Our dear Canopy lives on in surprising ways.
ps: more like this soon! 💙

Now more than ever, it’s so great that private and ethical discovery will be behind one of the world’s biggest news platforms. Could only dream of making an impact this big when I started @ourcanopy. Very proud of the team, old and new! canopy.cr/post/canopy-is-joi…

Real proud of the team I get to work with every day. They build important and complex stuff, and care just as much about each other as the thing itself. Been quite a year, and whenever it's been hard they step up even more. Here's just half of them, what a crew
One of my favorite kfw records, must get if you have the means
Just now, completely by surprise, I found 20x copies of this o/p 6-disc set of hour-long ambient pieces recorded between 2011 & 2013. Each copy is individually numbered in the fine-print of the tray-cards; $36 including free worldwide shipping:
