Dr David Smylie spent almost 40 years as a doctor in Britain, Australia, the US and New Zealand, including two years in Aboriginal health in the Australian outback. By 2022 he was a senior partner at Cambridge Medical Centre in the Waikato. He’d never had a single complaint made against him to the Medical Council.
That November, a sales rep emailed him an invitation to a sponsored education evening. Her email opened “Ate Marie Everyone”. She meant “ata mārie”, good morning.
He replied the moment he read it, late at night, to her alone. Four sentences: a joke about the typo, a grumble about how much te reo was in her email, and a request to be taken off the mailing list. He’s the first to admit it was a knee-jerk reaction, and he regrets sending it.
Nine days later she wrote back calling it “offensive and inappropriate”. The same day, her manager reported him to the Medical Council.
Within days, Dr Smylie had written an apology for her. The Council never passed it on, at one point claiming it would “interfere with an active investigation”. When a Professional Conduct Committee later interviewed the rep, she said an apology would have made her feel a lot better. His was sitting in the Council’s file. Nobody had told her.
When the committee’s chair suggested she meet him, another member warned her off, saying it could be bad for her mental health, and added: “it’s tough calling out racism.”
In September 2023 the committee ruled his email “objectively racist, offensive, and insensitive”. Whether he meant any harm was “of little consequence”. His four sentences had “the potential to contribute to current health inequities”.
The penalty was a year-long “educational programme”: monthly sessions with a supervisor who reported on him to the Council, readings on colonisation and institutional racism, and strategies for managing his “implicit biases (which are inevitable)”. He was expected to pay for it, at $125 an hour plus GST. To finish, he had to write two essays, including 1,000 words on structural racism in New Zealand health care.
Before the programme even started, he’d apologised to the rep directly, and she had accepted. His lawyers asked for the programme to be halved and the essays dropped. It went ahead anyway.
He sat through all twelve sessions. He refused to write the essays, as a matter of principle.
“It is the nastiest thing I’ve ever gone through in my career and my life,” he told the Free Speech Union.
Dr Smylie now practises overseas.
Health NZ is short-staffed and recruiting from abroad. The Medical Council spent a year re-educating a GP with almost 40 years’ experience over one private email, and New Zealand lost him in the process.

Every time the science has been settled, somebody paid for the settlement, and the bill has a name on it.
1747: James Lind cures scurvy with lemons. The Navy keeps it settled as a disease of damp air for forty-eight years and loses more sailors to it than to the French.
1799: Bleeding is settled. George Washington is drained of nearly half his blood for a sore throat and is dead by evening.
1847: Childbed fever is settled as bad air. Ignaz Semmelweis washes his hands and the deaths on his ward fall from one mother in ten to one in a hundred. He is sacked, committed, and beaten to death in an asylum.
1915: Pellagra is settled as an infection. Joseph Goldberger proves it is the corn diet of the poor by injecting himself with sufferers' blood. The South keeps the corn, and 100,000 Americans die of it.
1941: The lobotomy is settled, and about to win a Nobel. Rosemary Kennedy, twenty-three, is left unable to walk or speak, one of 40,000 Americans put under the pick.
1956: The pregnancy X-ray is settled as harmless. Alice Stewart shows one scan doubles a child's chance of cancer. She loses her funding and the scans run for another quarter century.
1961: Thalidomide is settled as safe for morning sickness. Ten thousand babies.
1971: DES is settled as a pregnancy protector. The daughters of the women who took it develop a cancer nobody has seen before.
1972: Sugar is settled as harmless. John Yudkin writes that it is not, and the fat men and the sugar men end his career between them.
1984: Fat is settled as the killer, and a generation of mothers swaps the butter for a tub of oil.
2004: Vioxx is settled as a safe painkiller. Up to 140,000 heart attacks before it is pulled.
The science was settled every single time. The only thing it ever settled was who took the blame afterwards.

🚨BREAKING: New Paper Reveals How mRNA "Vaccine" Materials Could Spread From Vaccinated to Unvaccinated People
We identified TWO distinct forms of mRNA vaccine shedding: internal transcriptional spread and potential human-to-human transfer.
1. HUMAN-TO-HUMAN SHEDDING:
Studies have detected vaccine SPIKE PROTEIN and mRNA on or within circulating exosomes MULTIPLE YEARS after vaccination.
Exosomes are naturally present in bodily secretions:
BREAST MILK: Vaccine mRNA already DETECTED within exosomes in human breast milk, documenting its presence in a secretion naturally transferred from vaccinated mothers to their infants.
SALIVA: Exosomes confirmed; vaccine materials NEVER TESTED.
EXHALED BREATH: Exosomes confirmed; vaccine materials NEVER TESTED.
SWEAT: Exosomes detected; vaccine materials NEVER TESTED.
Exosomes can deliver genetic material into recipient cells capable of altering cellular activity. These findings establish the biological basis for potential human-to-human transfer routes.
Adding to these concerns, an observational study found associations between proximity to vaccinated individuals and menstrual irregularities among unvaccinated women.
Despite these findings, whether vaccine-derived materials can transfer between individuals through saliva, exhaled breath, sweat, or other bodily secretions has NEVER BEEN DIRECTLY TESTED.
2. TRANSCRIPTIONAL SHEDDING — INTERNAL SPREAD THROUGHOUT THE BODY:
Following mRNA vaccination, human cells manufacture spike protein, which can be broken into fragments, released into the bloodstream, and transported throughout the body inside exosomes.
Our paper identifies TWO potential mechanisms that could extend this process:
CELL DIVISION (MITOSIS): When spike-producing cells divide, their daughter cells may inherit vaccine-derived proteins and other altered cellular materials, potentially extending their effects across generations of cells.
CELL-TO-CELL SPREAD: Exosomes can transport spike-related materials to distant cells that NEVER received vaccine mRNA directly, disrupting their normal biological functions.
Together, these mechanisms suggest a SELF-REINFORCING CYCLE of molecular dissemination:
SPIKE PRODUCTION → FRAGMENTATION → EXOSOME RELEASE → CELLULAR DISRUPTION → FURTHER SPREAD
As vaccine-derived materials spread between cells, they interfere with five interconnected biological systems: blood coagulation, innate immune sensing, tumor-suppressor signaling, cellular receptor regulation, and interferon signaling.
The possibility of sustained cellular disruption and human-to-human exposure demands IMMEDIATE testing.
In the meantime, a HALT to mRNA technology is warranted to protect innocent bystanders from potential shedding.

An Open Letter to the University of Sydney @Sydney_Uni @mscott
Regarding the appointment of Jacinda Ardern as Professor of Practice
Dear Professor Scott,
I read with absolute disgust that the University of Sydney has appointed Jacinda Ardern as Professor of Practice, where she will apparently be sharing her wisdom on empathetic leadership, social cohesion and civic trust.
You cannot be serious.
You are quoted as saying:
"Dame Jacinda led New Zealand through events of profound consequence and her leadership demonstrated that empathy and resolve do not compete with one another; each can strengthen the other."
Appointing Jacinda Ardern to teach social cohesion is rather like appointing Jeffrey Dahmer to teach a course on wellbeing, or Jimmy Savile to run the local daycare centre. The sheer absurdity would almost be funny if the consequences of her leadership weren't so hideously tragic.
My name is Alia Bland. I am a co-founder of Voices for Freedom, an organisation established in New Zealand in 2020. For years, we stood alongside tens of thousands of ordinary Kiwis whose lives were torn apart by the policies of Ardern's government.
While the international media fawned over her kindness and compassion, we were dealing with the wreckage.
At the height of the COVID response, we were receiving upwards of 1,000 emails a day. Desperate people reaching out because they had lost their jobs, their incomes, their homes and, in many cases, their will to live.
People nearing retirement were forced to sell family homes they had spent decades paying off. Some are still living in caravans five years later.
Marriages collapsed. Families fractured. Lifelong friendships were destroyed. People who had served their communities for decades were suddenly treated like lepers because they declined a medical procedure.
Some of the people who came to us had spent their entire lives believing New Zealand was a decent, fair-minded country. Watching that belief crumble, and seeing what it did to them, was heartbreaking.
I cannot adequately describe the anguish in those emails. The desperation of parents wondering how they would feed and house their families. The humiliation of hardworking people being marched out of professions they loved. The despair of people who had done everything society asked of them, only to discover that their own government considered them disposable.
And presiding over it all was Jacinda Ardern, smiling for the cameras and telling the world how kind New Zealand was.
Kind? For whom?
Her government deliberately created a two-class society. Ardern herself acknowledged it publicly. New Zealanders were excluded from workplaces, businesses, events and ordinary social life. People were coerced into accepting a medical intervention under threat of losing their livelihoods.
And those who suffered adverse reactions to the COVID vaccines faced another nightmare. We fought for vaccine-injured New Zealanders whose lives had been devastated by serious physical harm, while many struggled to have their injuries acknowledged or receive adequate support.
The government's public assurances about vaccine safety deserve particular scrutiny. Officials knew about the myocarditis risk, including among young people. We have examined the records. Yet people raising legitimate questions about those risks were routinely dismissed and vilified.
The damage went far beyond lost incomes and broken relationships. An enormous number of New Zealanders lost faith in the very institutions they had trusted their entire lives. Government, health authorities, education, police and the media. That trust has not magically returned because Ardern has moved on to more prestigious surroundings.
While her government was busy marginalising people, we were building a nationwide support network to help them survive.
Voices for Freedom grew to more than 100,000 people on our mailing list, many representing entire families. More than 45,000 people signed up to our local groups across the country, which are still operational today in 2026. We established industry groups to help people fight for their careers, provided support through employment disputes and legal challenges, organised practical assistance and hand-delivered millions of flyers to households throughout New Zealand.
We did this while facing censorship, public vilification and government surveillance. Official records obtained since have confirmed that our activities and communications were being monitored and reported on.
Our volunteers gave everything they could to help people who had been abandoned by the institutions meant to protect them.
And now the University of Sydney wants to hold up the woman responsible for overseeing this period as a shining example of empathy and social cohesion?
It is sickening.
Professor Scott, did anyone at your university bother to speak with the people whose lives were destroyed under Ardern's leadership before celebrating her appointment?
Have you spoken to the former nurses, teachers and police officers who lost their careers? The families who lost their homes? The people still suffering from vaccine injuries? The parents whose children no longer speak to them?
Or did you simply swallow the carefully cultivated international image of Saint Jacinda, the compassionate leader who saved New Zealand?
I wonder whether you have considered why this internationally celebrated former prime minister now lives in Australia rather than the country she once led. The depth of hostility towards her among many New Zealanders should give you pause.
Because I can assure you, there is another side to that story. And there are hundreds of thousands of New Zealanders who live with the consequences.
I have no objection to universities studying Ardern's leadership. In fact, I would encourage it. There is an enormous amount to learn from what happened in New Zealand between 2021 and 2023. Like, what not to do...
But presenting her as someone uniquely qualified to teach empathy, social cohesion and civic trust, without acknowledging the extraordinary human suffering that occurred under her leadership, is an insult to the people who paid the price.
We were there, Professor Scott. We saw what happened. We picked up the pieces. We are still picking them up.
Some of those people will never recover what they lost.
And the woman who presided over it all gets a professorship in empathy.
What an absolute disgrace.
Yours sincerely,
Alia Bland

What parties does RNZ and 1News favour? 🤔
We rated every news item over 30 seconds about the smaller parties across 51 bulletins from 25 September to 24 October. Two parties got far more favourable airtime than anyone else, and 11 got none at all.
Is that fair? Watch and decide for yourself.

A New Asthma Inhaler Cut Severe Attacks in Children by 45% — And It Combines Two Medicines in One Puffer!
Millions of children around the world use inhalers to control asthma, but a major clinical trial suggests that a simple change in treatment could help protect them from dangerous asthma attacks.
Published in The Lancet in 2025, the CARE trial tested a combination inhaler containing two medicines: budesonide, which reduces inflammation in the airways, and formoterol, which helps open them up for easier breathing. Unlike traditional salbutamol inhalers, which provide quick relief but do not treat airway inflammation, this combination tackles both problems at once.
Researchers studied 360 children aged 5 to 15 with mild asthma over one year. The results were encouraging: children using the combination inhaler when needed experienced 45% fewer asthma attacks requiring medical treatment than those using a standard salbutamol reliever. The treatment also helped prevent approximately 18 asthma attacks for every 100 children per year compared with standard care.
Even better, researchers found no evidence that the combination treatment harmed children’s growth or lung function during the study. This is particularly important because asthma treatment must not only relieve symptoms but also protect children’s long-term health.
The findings could help reshape how childhood asthma is treated. Traditional rescue inhalers can ease breathing problems, but they do not address the inflammation behind asthma itself. A combination inhaler offers a different approach by providing both quick relief and anti-inflammatory treatment in a single device.
However, parents should not switch their children’s inhalers without consulting their doctor, as the right treatment depends on the child’s age, asthma severity, and current medical guidelines.

Major U.S. banks are detecting third-party AI agents accessing customer accounts.
And they are attempting to take actions that appear to go beyond users’ instructions.
According to reports, banks including JPMorgan Chase, Bank of America, Wells Fargo and Morgan Stanley are tightening restrictions on these tools amid concerns about financial security and the risks of giving autonomous AI systems access to sensitive accounts.
The challenge is determining whether an AI agent is acting with a customer’s authorization or operating beyond what the customer intended.
Some banks are blocking outside AI agents or limiting them to read-only access, which allows information to be viewed without giving the tools control over transactions.
As AI assistants become more capable of managing financial tasks, banks face growing pressure to balance convenience with protecting customers’ money and personal information.

OIL AND GAS ARE NOT "FOSSIL FUELS" THEY ARE RENEWABLE ENERGY, created by a geothermal reaction in the Earth's mantle:
'Abiogenic Deep Origin of Hydrocarbons and Oil and Gas Deposits Formation'
"The theory of the abiogenic deep origin of hydrocarbons recognizes that the petroleum is a primordial material of deep origin [Kutcherov, Krayushkin 2010]. This theory explains that hydrocarbon compounds generate in the asthenosphere of the Earth & migrate through the deep faults into the crust of the Earth. There they form oil & gas deposits in any kind of rock in any kind of the structural position (Fig. 1). Thus the accumulation of oil & gas is considered as a part of the natural process of the Earth’s outgrassing, responsible for creation of its hydrosphere, atmosphere & biosphere. Until recently the obstacle to accept the theory of the abyssal abiogenic origin of hydrocarbons was the lack of the reliable & reproducible experimental results confirming the possibility of the synthesis of complex hydrocarbon systems under the conditions of the asthenosphere of planet earth."

The World you once knew no longer exists.
Being ignorant to this truth puts your life or daughters lives in danger.
Girls & women need to learn self defence, get strong & be prepared to protect themselves & their children.
I would truly love to live in a world where women could embrace their natural femininity & focus on a more natural traditional role in society such as raising children, family, building & supporting community, healing & wellbeing.
We can focus on these things but at the same time, we are not safe & it’s crucial that you understand this & that you can protect yourself.
Our own Governments have mass imported men that do not share our morals & values & do not have any respect for girls & women.
I personally have been harmed by these men & not just once.
There will not always be men around to defend & protect us & the burden cannot fall on them alone.
I grew up around strong brave men & they taught me how to be strong & resilient so that I had the ability to defend & protect myself.
These skills have saved my life on multiple occasions.
I am a nationalist, l am a traditionalist but I'm also realistic & being weak, helpless & powerless makes you another possible statistic.
Get strong, enrol yourself, your daughters in self defence & educate them.
